Fernet Stock Pranksters


Brief: Rejuvenate communication of the brand Fernet Stock Citrus and Fernet Stock Cranberry and establish it as a brand for young people

Solution: Fernet Stock Citrus and Cranberry are both classic brands that needed to get younger. We created a strategy based on one of the top online contents for young – pranks. We launched the campaign by creating a fake Fernet Stock Pizza product, which we promoted as a “hot new product” as part of a fake campaign. People got fooled by this hoax and it became a Facebook topic, which opened the way for us to introduce additional highly successful prank videos, in which the prankster pair Marcel Citrus and Ema Cranberry supplied juice to dry moments.
